Under the general direction of the Director of Housing Facilities (or designee), the Project Coordinator serves as a key professional responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting housing-related capital improvement projects and Fire Life Safety (FLS) programs. The incumbent independently manages multiple projects of moderate to high scope and complexity, ensuring alignment with university standards, regulatory compliance, and operational priorities. This position acts as a liaison between Housing, Capital Planning Design & Construction (CPDC), Facilities Services, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), contractors, and campus stakeholders. The role requires advanced project coordination, analytical, and communication skills to support project delivery, fire and life safety system compliance, and continuous improvement of housing operations. The incumbent exercises advanced judgment in coordinating complex projects, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational requirements, while ensuring projects meet scope, budget, and schedule expectations.
