About The Position

As a Project Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting project teams by ensuring effective site‑level administrative operations. Working from a site trailer or office, you will provide accurate, timely processing of documentation, payroll, and purchasing activities while maintaining strong communication with Operations, Payroll/HR, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams. Your work supports multiple projects across New Mexico and contributes to the smooth, efficient flow of project information.

Requirements

  • Post‑secondary education preferred, with 2+ years of office experience including purchasing, accounts payable, and payroll.
  • Basic accounting knowledge required.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel; SAP experience considered an asset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact tactfully with employees, visitors, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment while maintaining strong teamwork and prioritization skills.
  • Safety training and construction industry experience are assets.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily or weekly processing of timesheets, equipment usage, personnel allowances, and related documentation, ensuring accurate transfer to Accounting.
  • Interpret and apply organizational policies, rules, and regulations to support project teams.
  • Set up accounts with local suppliers and manage miscellaneous site purchases.
  • Establish and dismantle site offices as needed, ensuring efficient setup and closure.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and complete requisitions and AP invoice processing.
  • Process employee payroll daily with accuracy and attention to deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your manager.
