About The Position

Join a team supporting two Department of Defense educational programs: the National Guard Youth Challenge Program and STARBASE Program. This position supports training, assistance, and assessment services for STARBASE, including operational evaluation and lead responsibility for the STARBASE Annual Report, while serving as a key point of contact between FWI and government stakeholders. This is a full-time remote position working Monday through Friday, with travel to STARBASE sites nationwide. Responsibilities

Conduct operational evaluation site visits at established STARBASE sites, as determined by the ODASW (RI) Director Civil Military Programs, at least once every three years.
Review site operations and curriculum delivery for compliance with DoW instructions and key program factors.
Complete a minimum of 10 site visits per year.
Develop and update a national program evaluation checklist.
Review and adjust the site assessment tool to improve statistical documentation and evaluation of program performance.
Prepare site visit reports with recommended action plans and timelines for correcting deficiencies.
Participate in Program Director and Instructor training workshops.
Provide technical assistance and support to programs offering STARBASE Advanced.
Lead preparation of the STARBASE Annual Report.
Serve as a key point of contact between FWI and government stakeholders.
