About The Position

The Programming Coordinator, Memory Care helps create and lead an engaging program that maximizes resident engagement and enhances residents’ quality of life. The role supports the department in planning, coordinating, and implementing adult-centric, relevant, elevated, and purposeful activities and events. The coordinator also assists the Director of Entertainment & Programming with resident medical transportation and with organizing outings and excursions, in accordance with community guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in using Internet resources and understanding and using current technology.
• Valid driver's license, clean motor vehicle record, and at least three years of driving experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Eagerness to learn, an open mind, and a desire to create a wonderful lifestyle for residents.

Nice To Haves

• Previous relevant experience as a Programming Coordinator (Activities) is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the department in planning, coordinating, and implementing activities and events.
• Assist in developing the monthly program calendar, balancing cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational opportunities.
• Help procure groups, organizations, and individuals to perform for or instruct residents.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities through positive relationships and personalized interactions.
• Assist the Director of Entertainment & Programming with medical transportation for residents within community guidelines and with outings and excursions.
• Assist residents in entering and exiting the community vehicle.
