About The Position

The Programming Coordinator, Memory Care helps create and lead engaging programs that maximize resident participation and enhance quality of life. The role supports planning, coordinating, and implementing adult-centric, relevant, elevated, and purposeful activities and events. It also assists with developing the monthly program calendar, arranging performers and instructors, encouraging residents to participate through positive relationships and personalized interactions, and supporting resident transportation and outings within community guidelines.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be proficient in using Internet resources and demonstrate understanding and use of current technology.
Must have a valid driver's license, a clean motor vehicle record, and at least three years of driving experience.
Strong customer service skills required.
A big smile, eagerness to learn, open mind, and desire to create a wonderful lifestyle for residents.

Nice To Haves

Previous relevant experience as a Programming Coordinator (Activities) is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Support the department in planning, coordinating, and implementing adult-centric, relevant, elevated, and purposeful activities and events.
Assist in developing the monthly program calendar, balancing cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational opportunities.
Assist in procuring groups, organizations, and individuals to perform for or instruct residents.
Influence and encourage residents to participate in activities through positive relationships and personalized interactions.
Assist the Director of Entertainment & Programming in providing medical transportation to residents within community guidelines and arranging interesting outings and excursions.
Assist residents in entering and exiting the community vehicle.
