About The Position

Develops and implements internet marketing strategies to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness and improve customer satisfaction. Manages merchandising product placement, pathing, promotion and content to optimize conversion and consideration. Leads campaign management, product launch/transition, online merchandising, and end-to-end conversion. Directs the development of global e-commerce programs and website strategy to maximize brand presentation, consumer experience, and support the integrated internet marketing strategy for the company. Drives analysis to deliver changes to the commerce platform. Drives online demand generation strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes customer needs to determine the appropriate e-business solution and maximize online customer experience
  • Develops plans and schedules based on prioritization including requirements, feature implementation and testing, review points, and reporting
  • Defines and manages activities against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drives global search strategies through search engine optimization and marketing (SEO/SEM) and emerging social commerce
  • Identifies and recommends future architectural & technology enhancements and identifies new content opportunities to drive profitability and attainment of KPIs
  • Applies deep understanding of emerging online demand generation programs focused on affiliate marketing, shopper channels and email marketing
  • Forms online content partnerships, measures web usage/trends and manages vendor relationships
  • May serve as a liaison between the customer and company’s IT team and other core business partners for e-business solutions
