About The Position

Family Ark provides human service programs that promote positive change for children and families, including individual and family therapy services for youth and families in southern Indiana. The Lotus House is a transitional living program for pregnant and parenting mothers in recovery. The Lotus House Program Supervisor supports and instructs recovery support staff regarding the program’s day-to-day structure and reports to the Lotus House Program Director.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
• Two years of professional experience in the human services field.
• Ability to lead and coordinate team activities.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with referral sources, families, clients, and coworkers individually and in committee settings.
• Commitment to quality performance and service excellence.
• Ability to pass extensive background checks.
• Candidates are subject to pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing.

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory experience in a group or residential setting.
• Experience working with addiction and recovery populations.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of day-to-day program functioning and milieu, including scheduling and on-call responsibilities.
• Participate in ongoing program development and continuous quality improvement.
• Monitor staff performance and provide the resources and staff development needed to reach program goals.
• Ensure the program is delivered from a trauma-informed care perspective and that fidelity standards for relevant evidence-based practices are met.
