About The Position

Family Ark provides human service programs focused on positive change for children and families, including individual and family therapy services to youth and families in southern Indiana. The Lotus House is a transitional living program for pregnant and parenting mothers in recovery. The Lotus House 2 Program Supervisor supports and instructs recovery support staff on the day-to-day structure of the program. This position reports to the Lotus House Program Director. It is a full-time, nonexempt position.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
• Two years of professional experience in the human services field.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to lead and coordinate team activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with referral sources, families, clients, and coworkers individually and at a committee level.
• Commitment to quality performance and service excellence.
• Ability to pass extensive background checks.
• Candidates are subject to pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing.

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory experience in a group or residential setting.
• Experience working with addiction and recovery populations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day program functioning and the milieu, including scheduling and on-call responsibilities.
• Participate in ongoing program development and continuous quality improvement.
• Monitor staff performance and provide resources and staff development to help achieve program goals.
• Ensure the program is delivered from a trauma-informed care perspective and meets fidelity standards for relevant evidence-based practices.
