About The Position

The University of New Mexico’s Project ECHO has an exciting opportunity for a Program Specialist to join our Partner Support Team! As a Program Specialist, you will liaise with internal teams and internal/external stakeholders. You will be responsible for coordinating partner communication, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of solutions to customer needs, and assisting with challenging partner requests/escalating issues as needed. You will be actively involved in strategic planning for new partner programs to assist them with launching their ECHO programs. Project ECHO is committed to democratizing implementation of best practices in healthcare, education and other areas where first mile professionals need support. We do this by training universities, nonprofits, and dedicated individuals on facilitation skills and how to set up robust virtual communities of practice to be able to scale their own expertise and missions to the benefit of their local communities. Over the past 20 years, Project ECHO and our partners have trained more than 1,000 partners who make up our global network of Universities, ministries of health, and NGOs around the world. Examples of programs we and others run include infectious disease control (Hepatitis C, HIV), mental health and addiction treatment, literacy, math, climate mitigation and many more. Project ECHO is funded in part by philanthropic grants and gifts from organizations such as the GE Foundation, the Helmsley Charitable Trust, the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation, the Merck Foundation, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the US Government. Requirements

High school diploma or GED; at least 6 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Responsibilities

Guiding partners through program setup, including planning timelines, meeting training requirements, and preparing programs for launch.
Providing consultation to partners on implementation approaches aligned with the ECHO model. Provides ongoing consultation and problem-solving support related to iECHO platform use.
Providing guidance to partners in defining program goals and incorporating them into planning processes.
Leading special projects and strategic initiatives such as in-person Partner Launch Trainings (PLT, 2-day virtual trainings where partners learn how to develop and manage their programs with fidelity to the ECHO model) and cross-team initiatives supporting partner programs and iECHO development.
Facilitating PLTs by preparing training content, coordinating materials, and assisting with session delivery for partners.
Delivering structured iECHO (Project ECHO’s learning management platform where partners manage and run their programs and where participants access program sessions and resources) onboarding and advanced trainings for partners. Trains partners on ECHO tools used to capture required data.
Advising partners on best practices for program configuration, session management, and reporting.
Troubleshooting platform issues and coordinates with internal teams as needed.
Maintaining training materials, SOPs, job aids, presentations, team documentation and operational reports.
Compiling status reports on partner trainings such as, Partner Launch Training and iECHO Training and hub/program launches.
Compiling quality data for the ECHO movement in accordance with organizational standards.
Creating and delivering virtual and in-person Partner Launch Training, MetaECHO Conference presentations and, other trainings and offerings as needed.
Identifying opportunities to improve partner onboarding and implementation procedures, including refining step-by-step launch checklists, clarifying training requirements for different partner roles, and providing targeted guidance for iECHO platform setup.
