About The Position

BronxWorks helps individuals and families improve their economic and social well-being. From toddlers to seniors, we feed, shelter, teach, and support our neighbors to build a stronger community. Requirements

  • Two years related experience
  • Proficiency in English required; proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in modern business communications including personal computers, electronic mail, voicemail, facsimile and copier equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent credentials required

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage daily logs and reports, including petty cash, metro cards and banking cards
  • Manage and complete all office supply/equipment needs
  • Collect all necessary proof of purchases, receipts, for supplies, petty cash and purchases
  • Receive and maintain all office supplies, equipment and IT orders
  • Manage the phones, emails, mail and general inquires as to the program
  • Manage, assist and direct all walk-in clients
  • Assist with preparing for meetings, prepping agendas and training materials
  • Document progress notes for all encounters and services provided to clients
  • Participate in regular meetings and trainings with supervisor and other support staff
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Create and maintain logs and sign in sheets for all parts of the Representative Payee service, Metro Card services and use of Petty Cash
  • Manage the Representative Payee portfolio of clients, completing all needed transfers of accounts and documentation for internal and external Representative payee audits
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of records and documentation of all client interactions
  • Collaborate with CQI staff, case management and clinical staff to support program needs
  • Support CQI staff with audit preparation and audit reporting
