The New Mexico Sentencing Commission (NMSC) is a state agency embedded at ISR. UNM acts as fiscal agent. NMSC administers a grant program called the Crime Reduction Grants (CRGA). The program specialist will administer the CRGA program. This includes: Management of the Apply software used to track grants from submission to reimbursement request and required reports. Act as liaison with grantees ensuring that they are staying on track with the SOW of the grant; submitting reimbursement requests and required reports in a timely manner; helping grantees with budgeting; and ensuring accurate and complete reimbursement requests. Work with accounting staff to monitor payments. Meet regularly with NMSC Director, NMSC Deputy Director and NMSC CFO to discuss grant progress, any issues or problems and other related information. Assist in the planning and execution of the annual call for submissions. Requires extensive knowledge and experience with the New Mexico Judicial system.
