Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of youth development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with leadership and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 2–4-year degree in Human Services or a related field.
  • Two or more years of experience with a Boys & Girls Club, youth-serving organization, or nonprofit organization.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
  • Experience developing and implementing youth programs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of engaging youth programs in the areas of Creative Arts, Education, Emotional Wellness, Healthy Lifestyles, Leadership, and Workforce Readiness.
  • Partner with Club leadership to establish program goals, promote inclusive programming, and continuously improve program quality through evaluations and best practices.
  • Monitor program performance by maintaining accurate records, attendance and outcome data.
  • Coordinate grant implementation and reporting.
  • Serve as a resource for staff by identifying effective programming strategies and training opportunities.
  • Deliver engaging trainings, facilitate coaching sessions, and support onboarding and ongoing professional development for youth-facing staff.
  • Assist with program quality assessments and outcome evaluations to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support program recognition efforts and assist with planning events and special initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, and other partners.
