About The Position

Great teams are built through great training. As a Training Specialist at Centrus Energy, you'll help equip our workforce with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to safely support one of the nation's most important clean energy missions. From onboarding new employees and managing our Learning Management System (LMS) to developing engaging training programs and ensuring regulatory compliance, you'll play a key role in creating a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience
  • 5+ years of experience evaluating training requirements, developing training programs, delivering instructor-led training, and tracking employee training records
  • Experience conducting classroom training, presentations, and demonstrations for diverse audiences
  • Experience planning, developing, and supporting employee training programs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic database systems
  • Experience administering or supporting a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a “Q” level security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting training programs in a regulated manufacturing, industrial, energy, nuclear, or government environment
  • Experience preparing for or supporting regulatory, state, or federal inspections
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and a variety of training delivery methods, including classroom, virtual, and hands-on instruction
  • Experience analyzing training effectiveness and using data to recommend continuous improvements
  • A collaborative mindset, customer-focused approach, and passion for developing others through engaging learning experiences
  • Holds an active “Q” or Top-Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders across the organization to identify training needs, design and deliver engaging learning experiences, and ensure employees have the knowledge and qualifications to succeed.
  • Manage and optimize our Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding.
  • Maintain training records.
  • Develop training materials.
  • Conduct job task analyses.
  • Measure program effectiveness.
  • Support state and federal inspections while helping foster a culture of continuous improvement and lifelong learning.
