Under general supervision, this role plans, develops, and conducts a wide variety of staff training programs for new and current Nutrition Services personnel. The training covers Nutrition Services policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and point of sale computerized systems. The specialist also serves as a substitute site supervisor as needed to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of nutrition services to students and staff.
