About The Position

As a Training Specialist, you'll design and deliver learning experiences that build confidence, skills, and real-world capability across the Driver Licensing team. This role blends creativity, communication, and structure. You'll work with a wide range of individuals, adapting your approach to meet different learning styles while making a meaningful impact.

  • Knowledge of: motor vehicle laws, licensing regulations, and agency procedures; customer service principles and practices; office systems, data entry processes, and record-keeping standards; and basic computer applications and phone system operations.
  • Skill to: communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing; provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries effectively; resolve conflicts and de-escalate difficult situations; and operate computer systems and accurately enter data.
  • Ability to: manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment; work independently and collaboratively within a team; remain calm and professional under stress and demonstrate strong coping strategies; and adapt to changing policies, procedures, and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging training using a variety of methods.
  • Develop new courses and update existing materials.
  • Assess learning needs and tailor training to your audience.
  • Coordinate training sessions for new teammates and existing.
  • Track outcomes and maintain training records.
  • Update, track and maintain forms, communications, training materials, manuals etc.
