About The Position

Make a Meaningful Impact as a Full-Time Program Manager in Lakewood! Join the team at the Developmental Disabilities Resource Center and take on a rewarding leadership role where you'll make a real difference in the lives of individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. As a Program Manager, you'll work onsite in Lakewood from 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday, guiding a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about creating a culture rooted in Dedication, Dignity, Respect and Choice. Requirements

  • BA/BS in related field or combination of experience and education.
  • 2 years or paid or volunteer experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
  • 1 year staff supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of program planning and development.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member.
  • Ability to physically transfer, reposition and otherwise physically assist people with developmental disabilities as needed to meet health and safety needs.
  • Physical stamina to assist individuals safely, including the ability to stand, pivot, and transfer.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Ability to push, pull, and position wheelchairs and other adaptive equipment.
  • Manual dexterity for personal care and adaptive equipment support.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a dedicated team working directly with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
  • Collaborate with other Managers and leaders to embrace and facilitate continuous change, identifying innovative approaches to enhance business practices.
  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of DDRC.
  • Engage both employees and participants in day programs.
  • Develop impactful programs that truly meet the needs of those we serve.
  • Drive quality assurance and enhance the overall experience for individuals with developmental disabilities.

  • $58,750-$64,625 per year
