About The Position

Ignite Digital is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a major U.S. Navy data-focused initiative in the Norfolk, Virginia area. The role oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs involving data analytics, data visualization, and data governance. The Program Manager serves as the primary point of contact for Government stakeholders and ensures interconnected data projects are delivered effectively, on time, and within budget.

The position manages resources, risks, timelines, and budgets across the program, including the overall contract budget and subordinate project budgets and milestones. It ensures program activities align with the Navy’s data strategy and mission goals, and coordinates technical, analytics, and governance teams to support cohesive delivery. The role also provides regular updates and reporting to Navy stakeholders and internal leadership.

Applicants must hold an active DoW SECRET clearance and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in program or project management, with a focus on data analytics programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex data analytics initiatives with multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with data analytics technologies and platforms, including SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with data warehousing, data mining, and machine learning techniques.
• Experience with data governance, data quality management, and enterprise data principles.
• Experience supporting or managing Government clients and mission-driven programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Active DoW SECRET clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall planning, execution, and delivery of data analytics, visualization, and governance programs.
• Serve as the Government’s primary point of contact for all aspects of the data analytics program.
• Oversee multiple related data projects to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Manage program resources, timelines, budgets, risks, and performance metrics.
• Oversee the overall contract budget and all individual project budgets and milestones.
• Ensure project efforts align with the organization’s data strategy and governance principles.
• Coordinate with cross-functional technical, analytics, and governance teams to ensure cohesive program delivery.
• Provide regular updates and reporting to Navy stakeholders and internal leadership.
