About The Position

The Program Manager leads a team of Direct Support Professionals who support people with disabilities, including individuals with cognitive and physical challenges and, potentially, mental illness diagnoses. The role helps individuals participate fully in their communities and receive excellent support and service, following each person’s Person-centered Plan. The Program Manager supervises and trains team members, supervises team leads, manages schedules, coordinates outings, and advocates for individuals’ full community access. The role is responsible for group-home operations, including fostering a positive and supportive team environment, coordinating maintenance, ensuring safety standards, managing budgeting, handling staff-related issues, and overseeing vehicles.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Valid, unrestricted State of Michigan driver’s license and a good driving record.
Reliable and ongoing transportation.
Two years of related experience.
Successful completion of all required background clearances, including a comprehensive background check with fingerprinting, medical clearance (TB test, drug screen, and physical exam), and Michigan Long-term Care (MILTC) screening.
