Program Manager

Celestica•Portland, OR

About The Position

The Program Manager serves as the primary customer interface for semiconductor customer accounts, with a primary focus on New Product Introduction (NPI). The role leads complex programs in a dynamic matrix environment, aligning cross-functional teams, navigating competing priorities, and resolving resource constraints without direct supervisory authority. For smaller customer accounts, the Program Manager manages programs and projects on behalf of the account to achieve planned revenue and profit. This is a first-level management role within a site. It provides immediate supervision to employees across more than one function or work group, including assigning and reviewing work, making hiring and firing decisions, reviewing performance, recommending compensation, coaching, and applying discipline as necessary. The role establishes annual plans and objectives, contributes to policy development, executes budgets, develops schedules, and enforces policies and procedures. The Program Manager oversees high-complexity NPI and strategic account portfolios, plans and executes programs across the product lifecycle, and leads account teams spanning Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality. The role manages risks, scope changes, and resource constraints; communicates status to customers and executives; manages revenue, margins, inventory impacts, pricing, and contract terms; and promotes customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and issue resolution. The position is performed in a normal office environment and requires 10%–25% domestic and international travel. This location is a US ITAR facility; employment may involve the release of export-controlled goods, and Celestica may require information from applicants to determine whether export-control exemptions or licenses are needed.
