About The Position

At Honeywell Aerospace, the Program Manager guides and manages Aerospace and Defense programs, defining project scope and deliverables with cross-functional teams to align work with business goals and customer requirements. The role develops and implements project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, and monitors progress to support efficient, cost-effective execution and delivery. It also identifies and mitigates risks and issues that may affect delivery and drives operational excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation.

The Program Manager manages matrixed program teams to achieve business objectives for the Defense & Space Lockheed Martin (DSLM) CBT. The role involves extensive communication and direction of supporting functions, including contracts, program planning and control, and finance. The position reports to the Customer Business Manager and is based at one of Honeywell Aerospace’s locations. Travel is required to interface with key customers and major suppliers or partners.

Requirements

• Must hold the Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification, as determined by position level and minimum certification experience requirements; candidates without the certification required for their level must obtain it within six months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or person with protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or have the ability to obtain export authorization.
• Strong, thoughtful problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing project requirements.
