Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Medicine or Social Sciences Field.
  • Current Idaho Professional license (e.g., RN, LMSW, LPC).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in capacity with demonstrated knowledge and experience in supervision, personnel management, employee performance assessment, training and development of staff, and data collection and reporting.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working within the field of alcoholism, substance use disorders and mental health.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, as well as other health professionals and agencies.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations.
  • Able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
  • Able to facilitate positive and effective working relationships with the entire health care team.

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years' experience in an administrative position in a behavioral health setting.
  • Three or more years experience in the field of alcoholism, substance use disorders and mental health.
  • Master's degree in nursing, Medicine or Social Sciences field.
  • Experience working with a wide variety of patient populations, including patients living in poverty and individuals of minority groups.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for carrying out the policies established by the Allumbaugh House (AH) and Terry Reilly Health Services governing bodies.
  • Managing the clinical operations of Allumbaugh House under the supervision of the Associate Director of Behavioral Health Operations.
  • Assuring that all required policies and protocols are documented and reviewed timely.
  • Ensuring clinical services, staffing, and training are developed and implemented consistent with evidence-based practices, Joint Commission, and ASAM CARF standards.
  • Supervising, organizing, and evaluating services provided within Allumbaugh House, including personnel, clinical care practices, and community relations.
  • Providing for a safe, positive work environment.
