The House Manager serves as a leader in planning, organizing, coaching, and facilitating clinical functions and staff for the assigned shift to support safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. The House Manager provides leadership and coordination of nursing service activities during the scheduled shift and works closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers to promote teamwork and continuity of care. The House Manager is responsible for maintaining continuity of operations throughout the facility by overseeing patient admissions, discharges, and transfers while monitoring hospital capacity and patient flow. This position serves as a liaison between clinical departments and helps coordinate resources and ancillary services to support timely patient care. In the absence of the Director of Nursing Services, the House Manager assumes responsibility for nursing operations and provides leadership for the facility.
