About The Position

The Program Manager for TRIO Collegiate Programs – Student Support Services (SSS) is responsible for managing the daily operations of the TRIO SSS program, ensuring compliance with the Higher Education Act, federal TRIO regulations, and institutional policies. This role provides leadership, advising, and academic support coordination for eligible students, focusing on increasing retention, graduation, and graduate/professional school enrollment rates for low-income, first-generation, and students with disabilities. The Program Manager works closely with faculty, academic divisions, financial aid, registrar, housing, and other campus partners to deliver comprehensive services that align with the mandatory SSS program components.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Social Sciences, or related field
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in higher education or student support programs
• Knowledge of TRIO programs and regulations, or experience serving low-income, first-generation, and/or disabled student populations
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and student information systems (e.g., Banner, Blumen)
