About The Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. The role involves explaining and demonstrating basic college algebra and assisting students with test-taking strategies.
Requirements
- Proof of understanding of course material, evidenced by a minimum grade of B in the course (or equivalent coursework) for which you will tutor
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Demonstrate good study skills and work habits
- Exhibit a service-oriented attitude by focusing on helping students succeed in their courses
- Possess awareness & understanding of varying identities and experiences
- Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills
- Demonstrate dependability
- Must be a UND student.
- Must be eligible to work in the US.
- Must complete required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
Responsibilities
