About The Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. The purpose of this role is to explain and demonstrate basic college algebra and assist students with test-taking strategies.
Requirements
- Proof of understanding of course material, evidenced by a minimum grade of B in the course (or equivalent coursework) for which you will tutor.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Demonstrate good study skills and work habits.
- Exhibit a service-oriented attitude by focusing on helping students succeed in their courses.
- Possess awareness & understanding of varying identities and experiences.
- Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
- Demonstrate dependability.
- In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
- This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.
