About The Position

Centene is seeking a Program Manager III, Integration Quality & UAT (CM/LTSS) to join their team. This role is crucial in transforming the health of their 28 million members. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Care Management and LTSS processes, experience in process improvement and quality or system testing methods, and advanced expertise with Microsoft Project or Smartsheet. This is a remote role requiring significant schedule flexibility, including nights and weekends, and periodic travel. The position focuses on promoting program efficiency, service levels, and value by monitoring performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and developing strategies to realize them. The Program Manager will plan, organize, and oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with company strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Strong understanding of Care Management and LTSS processes.
  • Experience in process improvement and quality or system testing methods.
  • 5+ years project implementation, product or program management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced expertise with Microsoft Project or Smartsheet is highly preferred.
  • One year of experience with TruCare Classic and one year with TruCare Cloud preferred.
  • Experience with Care Central and Facets is a plus.
  • Prior involvement in system migrations or implementations.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
  • Managed care or prescription benefit management experience preferred.
  • Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promote increased program efficiency, service levels, and value by capturing and monitoring performance, and then identifying opportunities for improvement and strategies to realize those opportunities.
  • Plan, organize, monitor, oversee and lead multiple, concurrent resultant projects utilizing cross functional teams to deliver defined requirements and meet company strategic objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, improve service levels and to ensure regulatory compliance through enhanced operations
  • Develop strategies to realize improvement opportunities, and ensure organizational prioritization and resource alignment
  • Manage multiple projects through full project life cycle process including requirements gathering, creation of project plans and schedules, obtaining and managing resources, managing budget, and facilitating project execution, deployment and closure
  • Utilize corporate and industry standard project management tools and techniques to effectively manage projects
  • Maintain detailed project documentation as needed including action items, issues lists and risk mitigation plans
  • Provide leadership and effectively communicate project status to all stakeholders, including executive summaries and presentations
  • Negotiate with project stakeholders to identify and secure resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks
  • Lead cross-functional meetings with various functional areas to meet overall stakeholder expectations and company’s objectives
  • Provide functional and technical knowledge regarding overall program requirements and operations
