About The Position

Strategies to Empower People is seeking a full-time Program Manager for Supported Living Services to coordinate, develop, and implement their community-based supported living program for disabled adults in the Yuba, Sutter, and Placer county areas. This managerial position involves overseeing and coordinating Supported Living Services for adults with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). The role encompasses general administrative duties such as documentation, reports, and supervising field staff, as well as on-site assessments for incoming clients, hands-on support for current clients, and developing and implementing plans and goals. The Program Manager will directly supervise field supervisors and staff who work one-on-one with clients, ensuring the health, safety, and success of both clients and employees.

Requirements

  • At least three (3) years of experience working with individuals who have Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD).
  • At least two (2) years of supervisory experience (supervising staff, not individuals with disabilities).
  • At least two (2) years of budgetary/finance experience.
  • Understanding of Supported Living Services (SLS).
  • Understanding of the Medi-Cal system.
  • Proficiency with standard electronics, computer, and database systems.
  • Aptitude with using different systems.
  • Professional verbal and written/typed communication skills.
  • Licensed and insured driver with a clean driving record (no excessive points, no DUIs/wet-and-reckless in the past 10 years).

Responsibilities
