About The Position

Pilot Company is seeking a Leadership Development Intern to join their team in Knoxville, Tennessee, for the summer of 2027. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise leadership initiatives while working alongside experienced talent and leadership professionals. The intern will be an integral part of the Leadership Development team, supporting the implementation and coordination of leadership development experiences, including leadership assessments, executive coaching, and leadership training programs. This role provides practical application of leadership development strategies and contributes to initiatives impacting leaders across the enterprise.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Leadership Studies, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leadership program implementation, including planning and administration of virtual and in-person learning experiences.
• Support key leadership initiatives such as leadership assessments, executive coaching, and the operations of in-person and virtual leadership training programs.
• Help develop learning experiences by assisting with instructional design, participant communications, content organization, and engagement strategies.
• Collaborate across the business with leaders, executive assistants, HR Business Partners, Talent Management, Culture, and other stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery and execution.
