About The Position

The Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the day-to-day delivery and administration of a sector-based workforce development program aimed at strengthening Ontario’s manufacturing and automotive workforce amid tariff pressures, supply chain volatility, and technological change. As part of the Capacity Building and Innovation team, the coordinator supports participant recruitment and enrollment, training cohorts, employer engagement, delivery partners, program tracking, documentation, timelines, deliverables, and reporting to funders and internal stakeholders. The program includes employer-based initiatives such as hybrid training, AI Adoption Squads, AI Roadmaps, and pilot projects. The role involves outreach and relationship-building with employers, participants, partners, and other stakeholders; coordinating communications, workshops, information sessions, events, and meetings; and helping ensure a positive participant experience. The successful candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Interest in workforce development, skills training, and helping Ontario small and medium-sized employers adopt technologies and develop future-ready workforces is valued. This is a remote, 12-month term contract, stated to run until October 31, 2027. The position is open until November 20, 2026. ICTC is a neutral, not-for-profit national centre of expertise focused on strengthening Canada’s digital advantage through research, policy advice, and capacity-building solutions.
