The Program Coordinator duties are organizing, coordinating, and planning operational facets of a program and its related activities which include, but are not limited to the following: establishing long-term operational objectives, researching factors that may impact the success of the program, and working with individuals or groups to research and document program requirements in order to provide appropriate input into the development of strategic plans. This position requires excellent organizational, communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work independently and with others. Key Responsibilities include: Serve as the primary coordinator for the undergraduate program, supporting student engagement initiatives and acting as a resource for students, faculty, and staff. Manage class coordination and academic support activities, including scheduling assistance, communication with faculty and students, and monitoring operational needs related to course delivery. Maintain and enhance departmental digital presence by updating website content and managing the departmental scholar blog to ensure information is accurate, timely, and engaging. Develop, edit, and publish content for departmental communications and outreach efforts, including newsletters, posters, announcements, social media, and other digital platforms. Photograph departmental events, lectures, and activities for use in websites, social media, newsletters, promotional materials, and the scholar blog. Oversee the administrative operations and budget management of the Psychoanalytic Studies Program housed within the Department of Comparative Literature. Coordinate the planning, promotion, and execution of departmental events, lectures, workshops, and conferences. Provide general administrative support to departmental leadership and contribute to the efficient operation of departmental programs and initiatives.
