About The Position

Brigaid is hiring a full-time, year-round Program Chef to lead its foodservice partnership with Riverview School in Sandwich, Massachusetts. Riverview serves more than 200 students with diverse learning needs and produces approximately 125,000 meals annually across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A second campus for adult Riverview graduates is planned to open in 2027, with a central kitchen serving both campuses. During the first year, the Program Chef will be based in the School’s kitchen, leading daily operations, developing systems, training the existing team, and updating menus with an emphasis on scratch cooking. In the second year, the chef will transition to the central kitchen and oversee implementation of a commissary model across both campuses. Riverview leadership retains ultimate authority over strategic direction, while the Program Chef plays a key role in driving program changes. The role encompasses foodservice operations, procurement, menu and recipe development, staff training, and collaboration with students, school employees, program leadership, and other stakeholders. The Program Chef reports to a Brigaid Regional Chef and documents progress in a daily journal, with regular Zoom discussions. Compensation is $95,000 plus full benefits.
