About The Position
The Program Assistant/Assistant Teacher is an entry-level position that helps ensure comprehensive Head Start services are provided to enrolled children and families. The role uses the center environment to assist staff in creating rich learning opportunities that build on daily routines and support each child’s development and education. Arkansas Early Learning provides early learning and family support services to children from birth to age five in a childcare setting.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Help ensure comprehensive Head Start services are provided to enrolled children and families.
- Assist staff in creating learning opportunities in the center environment that build on daily routines and support each child’s development and education.
