About The Position

This position is part of a talent pipeline for an upcoming contract proposal to provide advisory and assistance services to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) supporting the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) mission areas. The role will support NASIC’s production of technical intelligence, modernization of capabilities, and collaboration with the intelligence community and Department of War (DoW) mission needs. Work will be performed on-site at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH, pending contract award.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (Secret or TS/SCI depending on role)
  • Strong background directly aligned with the technical or analytical specialty area
  • Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of MS Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, data analysis, etc.
  • Proficient in MS Project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess and applies basic knowledge of project management principles, practices, and procedures to the completion of assignments.
  • Excellent analytical skills, is detail-oriented, interacts well with others, and has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Applies advanced skills, concepts, practices and procedures to complete several small to medium projects or a complex component of a large project.
  • Ability to operate with broad latitude for actions and decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • For some roles, advanced degrees (MS/PhD) are preferred
  • Experience supporting DoW, interagency, or national security missions is highly desirable
  • Experience within the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) community.

Responsibilities

  • Provides full IDIQ contract oversight and serves as the primary technical point of contact to the Contracting Officer.
  • Plans, coordinates, controls, and reports all activities required to meet contract objectives.
  • Manages cost, schedule, and program data against Task Order baselines and milestones.
  • Allocates resources.
  • Develops the Work Breakdown Structure and Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Conducts meetings with the Government Task Manager.
  • Oversees material purchases and travel.
  • Performs performance assessments.
  • Reports metrics.
  • Implements corrective actions, including leading Task Manager and overall contract Program Management Reviews.
