About The Position

Merakey is seeking compassionate, reliable, and mission-driven Program Aides to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Program Aides work alongside a team to help individuals build independence, develop social and communication skills, and participate in daily living activities and community engagement. The role may include serving as a mentor, coach, and advocate, and supporting individuals in achieving personal goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Current, valid driver's license.
Good oral and written communication and organizational skills.
Six months of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care and assistance with activities of daily living.
Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
Provide community support and transportation.
