About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position to teach the course HIS4720 (Séminaire en histoire médiévale) during the Winter 2027 semester. The course, titled 'Monks and Nuns in Medieval Society,' will examine the role of Christian monks and nuns in medieval society, their relationship with political and economic powers, and their influence on religious and political currents in medieval Europe from late antiquity to the Protestant Reformation. The course will be taught in French and is expected to have an enrollment of 20 students.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in a relevant field.
  • Ability to teach in French.
  • Mode of teaching: In person.
