About The Position
This course focuses on the development of fundamental skills in reasoning and critical thinking. Students will study various argument types, logical structures, criteria for evaluating arguments, and forms of fallacious reasoning. The course is taught in English and is scheduled for the Winter 2027 semester.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Philosophy.
- Experience in teaching at the university level in Philosophy.
- Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
- Ability to teach in English.

Responsibilities
- Teach Reasoning and Critical Thinking (PHI1101-H00) during the Winter 2027 semester.
- Develop and submit a syllabus for approval by the Director of Undergraduate Studies, Department of Philosophy.
- Deliver instruction in person.
- Conduct classes during scheduled times: Tuesdays 11:30 AM - 12:50 PM and Fridays 1:00 PM - 2:20 PM.
