About The Position

The School of Civic Life and Leadership (SCiLL) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is recruiting for an experienced Army officer and leader to serve as a Professor of the Practice and advise the School on the development of a new M.A. in Leadership. This is a temporary, part-time appointment for a one-year. The position is not benefit eligible and may be renewed at the discretion of the Dean and faculty of SCiLL, subject to University policies and procedures. The successful candidate will bring substantial experience in military leadership and education, experience working in a university or campus environment, and an established understanding of the relationship between higher education and the military. Experience engaging with Army ROTC and developing productive relationships with cadets, military faculty, and University partners is highly desirable.

Requirements
