About The Position
The Department of Computer Science at Tulane University is seeking a Professor of Practice to join their faculty starting Fall 2027. The department values interdisciplinary applications of computer science and has a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence research. The ideal candidate will have a record of excellent undergraduate teaching and mentoring, a commitment to student-centered learning, and a desire to support students both academically and personally. The School of Science and Engineering offers unique opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration. Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science
- Record of excellent teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate level
- Commitment to student-centered teaching
- Drive to support students both in and out of the classroom
