About The Position

Indiana University Bloomington (IUB) invites applications for a tenured/tenure-track associate or full professor in the School of Nursing. We seek candidates to lead research in the IU School of Nursing’s clinical research areas of excellence: prevention and health promotion, chronic condition management and quality of life, serious illness care, and community and health systems. We are interested in candidates whose research advances health and well-being across populations and settings. Examples of areas that align with our current priorities include aging, rural health, environmental health, and community-engaged research. We invite applicants who have a record of federal-level funding and nationally and/or internationally disseminated and peer reviewed scholarship. These 10-month appointments would ideally start August 1, 2027, although an earlier or later start date is negotiable. Applications received by December 30, 2026 will receive full consideration, and applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.
