The CEPH-accredited School of Public Health at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health. Texas A&M University is a large public land-grant research university known for its strong traditions, academic rigor, and extensive research activity. The School of Public Health is expanding its multidisciplinary research programs to address environmental and occupational determinants of health. The Department invites applications for a full-time tenured/tenure-track faculty position with expertise in Exposure Sciences, with a preferred emphasis in industrial hygiene (IH). The ideal candidate should have a strong record of research productivity and expertise in comprehensive exposure assessment methods to characterize human exposures to chemical, biological, physical agents, and examine their associations with adverse health outcomes among workers and/or the general population. This position is a 9-month faculty appointment with an expectation to teach a minimum of four courses per academic year with the option of course buyout with research funding. The successful candidate will also be expected to secure external research funding and contribute service to the profession. This appointment is anticipated to start as early as August 1, 2027. Applicants will be considered for the faculty title of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor depending on qualifications.
