About The Position

The Jacobs School of Music is seeking candidates for a position in the Woodwind Department in Clarinet. The ideal candidate will have national and international recognition as a performer and pedagogue in various settings. Responsibilities include managing a studio of undergraduate and graduate clarinet students, teaching studio classes, and coaching chamber ensembles. Additional duties may involve teaching orchestra literature, pedagogy classes, and related courses. The successful candidate will participate in departmental meetings, recruitment, auditions, doctoral committees, recital hearing committees, faculty recitals, outreach, master classes, and Jacobs School of Music committees.
