About The Position

The Common Law Section seeks to recruit part-time professors who are leaders in the legal profession. This course, CML1508 Droit des biens, provides an introduction to the fundamental principles of property law in Canada, including possession, various forms of ownership, Indigenous title, co-ownership, and the alienation of property. It also explores social issues pertinent to this area of law, such as Indigenous law, socio-economic rights, and the environment, with a particular focus on real property. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31.

Requirements

  • LL.B or J.D. degree.
  • Member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario or another Canadian bar.
  • Must be a regular part-time professor.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience teaching this course is an asset.
  • Must be leaders in the legal profession.
