About The Position

Miami Pet Concierge, a trusted professional in-home pet care company since 2007, is hiring part-time Pet Care Specialists (Dog Walkers & Pet Sitters). The company provides dog walking, pet sitting, cat care, puppy visits, and overnight care in various Miami neighborhoods. The role focuses on providing reliable, high-quality in-home pet care, emphasizing trust, consistency, professionalism, communication, and care. This is a professional role where specialists are expected to show up on time, follow detailed instructions, make sound decisions, and care for pets and homes, thereby maintaining the relationship between Miami Pet Concierge and its clients.

Requirements

• Be 18 years or older
• Have a reliable automobile and valid auto insurance
• Have a smartphone with camera and data plan
• Communicate fluently in English
• Be physically able to walk dogs and climb stairs
• Be comfortable working outdoors in Miami weather
• Be dependable, responsible, and detail-oriented
• Be able to commit to the role for at least 9 months

Nice To Haves

• Previous pet care experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Walking dogs (30–60 minutes) based on client instructions
• Feeding pets and refreshing water
• Cleaning litter boxes and food bowls
• Picking up and properly disposing of waste
• Administering medications when required
• Observing and reporting changes in behavior or health
• Locking homes and managing security systems when applicable
• Sending clear, timely updates and photos to clients
• Following all client-specific care instructions accurately
