About The Position

BakerRipley is seeking a dynamic Career Advisor for its Workforce Solutions team. The role helps individuals pursue meaningful employment and career growth by providing professional, respectful, and responsive customer service. The Career Advisor engages with visitors by phone, in person, email, live chat, and social media, listens to their needs, and connects them with appropriate job opportunities, workforce programs, workshops, and community resources. The advisor also provides guidance on local labor market trends, career exploration tools, and job search strategies, supporting at least 10 customers each week.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or qualifying equivalent experience and transferable skills.
• Alternatively, at least six months of experience and transferable skills may substitute for each 15 hours of college credit, up to two years.
• Alternatively, four years of experience working at Workforce Solutions and a recommendation from the current or most recent supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers by phone, in person, email, live chat, and social media.
• Listen to customers’ needs and connect them with suitable job opportunities, workforce programs, workshops, and community resources.
• Provide guidance on local labor market trends, career exploration tools, and effective job search strategies.
• Support at least 10 customers weekly in securing, retaining, or advancing in employment.
• Deliver timely, friendly, professional, respectful, and responsive service and make impactful referrals.
