About The Position
This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the FEM3505 course, Théories féministes, during the Fall 2026 semester at the University of Ottawa. The course is a seminar dedicated to the in-depth study of feminist theories, contextualizing and synthesizing knowledge acquired in feminist and gender studies through a detailed analysis of these theories. The course will be offered in person.
Requirements
- Doctorate preferred.
- University teaching experience at the undergraduate level on feminist theories.
- Publications in the field of women's studies.
- Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
Responsibilities
- Teach the FEM3505 course on Feminist Theories.
- Conduct a seminar dedicated to the in-depth study of feminist theories.
- Contextualize and synthesize knowledge acquired in feminist and gender studies through a detailed analysis of these theories.
