About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the course FEM2507, Diversité des femmes : genre, race, classe et (in)capacités, during the Fall 2026 semester at the Main Campus. The course will be offered in person and is part of the Faculty of Social Sciences, within the Institute of Feminist and Gender Studies. The course description focuses on intersectional feminist perspectives to examine how gender, race, class, and (in)capacities shape social and political institutions and women's lived experiences. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. The offered rate is $239.47 per hour for teaching, excluding vacation and statutory pay, and will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified, with retroactivity upon ratification. Requirements

  • Doctorate preferred.
  • University teaching experience at the undergraduate level preferred.
  • Publications and work demonstrating knowledge in gender, race, class, and (in)capacities.
  • Competence in French (language of instruction).

Responsibilities

  • Teach the course FEM2507, Diversité des femmes : genre, race, classe et (in)capacités.

  • Deliver the course in person.
  • Complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
