This is a new position for the Fall 2026 academic period, specifically for FLS 2581 I00, associated with ECO 1502 B00. The course is an Immersion 1: Oral and Written Comprehension course, linked to a 3-credit course in a given discipline (ECO 1502), taken in French by non-francophone students. The objective is to develop second language comprehension skills (listening and reading) and to help students assimilate the course material. While exam answers in the disciplinary course can be in English or French, answers in the language course must be in French only. In addition to teaching the language course, the FLS professor must also attend the disciplinary course, ECO 1502 B00, which is held in person on Tuesdays from 14:30 to 15:50 and Fridays from 16:00 to 17:20. Students may be enrolled in sections B00 or C00 of ECO 1502.
