About The Position
This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the course "La bande dessinée" (FRA2735 Section A) during the 2027 Winter Semester in the Faculty of Arts, Department of French. The course will study the history of comic strips and the main movements that have marked their development, particularly in the French-speaking context, from humorous and adventure comics to contemporary graphic novels. The course will be offered in person.
Requirements
- Doctorat en lettres françaises
- Avoir déjà donné un cours de littérature
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach the course "La bande dessinée" (FRA2735 Section A).
- Conduct a study of the history of comic strips and the main movements that have marked their development, particularly in the French-speaking context, from humorous and adventure comics to contemporary graphic novels.
- Offer the course in person.
