About The Position

This is a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the NUT3506 course, Alimentation des collectivités (Community Nutrition), in the School of Nutrition Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, for the Fall 2026 semester. The course focuses on the management of meal production for various communities, menu development considering client needs and administrative/therapeutic constraints, standardized recipe creation, and hygiene/sanitation principles in community food production. This specific posting is for the laboratory component of the course.

Requirements

  • University degree in Nutrition Sciences or an equivalent field.
  • Relevant professional experience in institutional food production for communities.
  • Relevant university teaching experience related to the course.
  • Membership in the Ontario Dietitians Association or another Canadian provincial association.
  • Possession of either a provincial food safety certification or a provincial food handler certification.
  • If the degree is in an equivalent field, the candidate must specify in their CV how their academic training relates to nutrition sciences.

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of theoretical principles learned in NUT3506 Alimentation des collectivités (lecture course).
  • Preparation and setup for the laboratory.
  • Supervising and guiding students in the laboratory setting.
