About The Position

The Product & Supplier Operations Specialist supports the development, sourcing, and execution of product and supplier strategies for Heritage Imports LLC (HEIM), a division of Heritage Distribution Holdings. This role works cross-functionally to manage supplier relationships, support product launches, and coordinate upstream supply chain activities. The position combines hands-on operational execution with analytical and process improvement responsibilities, helping ensure product availability, data accuracy, and scalable business processes. Success in this role requires strong ownership, adaptability, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in HVAC, distribution, manufacturing, supply chain, or related industry
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work across internal teams and external partners
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn product, supplier, and industry dynamics
  • Ability to balance hands-on execution with process improvement thinking

  • Supply chain or product-related certifications

Responsibilities

  • Support management of supplier relationships, including communication, coordination, and performance tracking
  • Assist in developing supplier standards, expectations, and accountability metrics
  • Execute new product launches, including product setup, internal item creation, and ERP system coordination
  • Review product specifications, manuals, and technical documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate product registrations and compliance requirements (e.g., GTIN/UPC, certifications, testing)
  • Support procurement and inbound logistics activities, including purchase order coordination and shipment tracking
  • Partner with third-party logistics providers and internal teams to manage inbound and outbound product flow
  • Assist with order processing, shipment coordination, and resolution of exceptions (delays, discrepancies, OS&D)
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to support pricing, product rollout, and issue resolution
  • Maintain accurate product, supplier, and operational data within ERP and reporting systems
  • Develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) to drive consistency and scalability
  • Analyze product, supplier, and operational data to support decision-making and performance tracking
